Consultant, A Tempo Senior Move
2012 – 2017 Jamaica, Vermont
A Tempo Senior Move offers services related to the changes often experienced by retirees and seniors as they get older, including factors related to planning and organizing a move. A partial roster of services includes developing an overall move plan to a one-level home, residential care complex, or nursing home, or an “age in place” plan; downsizing or right-sizing belongings; organizing and sorting goods and valuables for future use or profitable disposal; and all the many details involved in a change or move from the current living situation to a more suitable lifestyle. Retirees and their families are invited to use only the services they desire, as A Tempo Senior Move provides a flexible fee structure.
A Tempo Senior Move is so named by its owner Alice Abraham because, as a former librarian, her specialty was music. Her use of the musical direction a tempo (Italian for in time) reflects that her firm’s services are designed to help her clients and their families resume their original pace after a transition. Alice says, “A Tempo will put the ‘ahh’ – sigh of relief – into your move as we take care of all the logistics and help you with the decisions involved in your transition.”
